Frequently asked questions about customisation

79 answers from our Evere (Brussels) workshop: orders, pricing, lead times, techniques, files, textiles, products, care and delivery.

Orders and quantities

Yes. We personalise from a single item, with no minimum order on a wide range of textiles: unique gift, prototype, new employee or replacement kit.

No. Our workshop can produce a single item or several hundred. For large runs, state your deadline when requesting a quote.

Yes, within the same order and for the same model. Simply indicate the breakdown by size and colour.

Yes: t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and promotional products can be combined in the same quote, with the same logo.

Choose your items in the textile catalogue or the promotional products catalogue, then send your quote request with your logo and quantities. We confirm everything with you before production.

Yes. We keep your marking: a replenishment uses the same logo, in the same position, as long as the model is available from the manufacturer.

Can you mark textiles I already own?

Yes. First names, roles, surnames and numbers can vary from item to item, in flex, in DTF or in embroidery.

Prices and quotes

Send us the model, quantities, your logo and the desired placement. The quote is free, non-binding, and is sent to you within 24 h on weekdays. The complete guide: how to request a quote.

Does the price shown on the site include the marking?

Are prices scalable (volume discounts)?

The model, the technique, the number of colours, the number of placements, the quantity and the deadline. Everything is explained in what makes the price of a custom t-shirt vary.

Is embroidery more expensive than printing?

Are prices excl. VAT?

Are there setup fees?

Group your needs into one order, simplify the logo to one or two colours, choose the technique suited to the quantity and plan ahead to avoid rush fees. Our tips for clubs: outfit your club without blowing the budget.

Deadlines and rush orders

What is the lead time for a standard order?

Yes. For items in stock, we offer an express service of 24 h. A standard order generally takes 10 working days.

I have an event on a fixed date, what should I do?

Does the lead time depend on the technique?

Ideally from October or early November. Our ideas and calendar: corporate end-of-year gifts.

The production time refers to the workshop. Collection in Brussels is immediate; for delivery, add the carrier's transit time.

Marking techniques

It depends on your artwork, the quantity and the item. Compare them on our marking techniques page or let us choose: we advise you free of charge in the quote.

The DTF printing. It reproduces gradients and fine details, from a single piece, on light or dark textiles.

For polos, sweatshirts, jackets, caps and workwear: it's the most durable and most premium technique. See embroidery.

The flex: each kit can have a different name and number. Our typography tips: names and numbers on sports shirts.

Screen printing offers the best price per piece in volume, with intense colours.

Direct To Film: the design is printed onto a film, then heat‑transferred onto the garment. It allows all colours, from a single piece.

Flex is a coloured film that is cut, smooth and opaque. The screen-print transfer is printed with ink: thinner and more matte. The comparison: flocage or transfer?

The patch is embroidered separately then sewn or heat-bonded: ideal for existing garments or uniforms. Direct embroidery is done on the garment.

Yes, for example a logo embroidered on the left chest and a large DTF design on the back.

Yes, in DTF, provided you supply a high‑resolution image (300 dpi at the print size).

Pad printing for small items and curved surfaces, screen printing for bottles, bags and umbrellas, and digital printing for photos.

Left chest, centre chest, back, sleeve, neck, hem or hood. The left chest remains the most professional spot; the back gives the most visibility.

Files, logo and graphic design

Ideally a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF). Otherwise, a high-resolution PNG on transparent background. The complete guide: prepare a perfect print file.

300 dpi at the actual print size. For a design 30 cm wide, allow roughly 3 500 pixels.

Send what you have, even a photo. Our studio can redraw your logo. All options: I don't have a file of my logo.

Yes. Our graphic studio can retouch your logo, vectorise it or create a design from A to Z.

Gradients must be simplified into flat colours. To preserve them, DTF is better suited. See prepare your logo.

About 2 mm high for print and 5 mm for embroidery. Below that, letters become unreadable.

Give us your references: they allow us to get as close as possible to your brand colours, in both embroidery and printing.

Yes. The design, placement and size are confirmed with you before production starts.

Textiles, sizes and models

See the size guide on the product page. For a team, ask each person their size before ordering and allow one or two spare items.

It's the weight of the fabric in g/m². The higher it is, the thicker and more durable the t‑shirt. Above about 180 g/m², it keeps its shape better through washes.

Cotton for everyday comfort, polyester for sports and quick drying, blends for workwear. Why the result changes depending on the material: the same artwork, a different result.

Yes, many models exist in men's, women's, unisex and children's cuts. For the little ones: personalising children's clothes.

Softshell, fleece, down jacket, parka or high-visibility: our comparison which personalised jacket to choose.

Yes, a range of certified workwear and high-visibility garments, customisable without covering the reflective strips.

Manufacturers sometimes renew their collections. We will then offer an equivalent model, as close as possible.

Promotional products

Bottles, mugs, pens, notebooks, bags, umbrellas, high-tech, desk and sports items and corporate gifts. See the promotional products catalogue.

It depends on the item and the technique. Tell us the quantity you want and we will propose the best solution.

A useful, lightweight item: pen, tote bag, bottle or notebook. Our ideas: personalised promotional products.

Yes, for example a tote bag, a bottle and a beanie with your logo for a welcome kit.

Yes, with appropriate care. We provide care instructions for each item. See personalised bottle.

Yes, thanks to digital printing, which reproduces photos and gradients.

Care and durability

Inside out, at 30 or 40 °C, without fabric softener, and never iron directly on the print. Air drying preserves the marking best.

Yes, it's the most durable technique, suitable for workwear washed regularly.

No, when washing instructions are followed: DTF is flexible and moves with the fabric.

Yes, inside out or with a protective cloth, never directly on the print or the flex.

Gentle tumble drying is possible, but air drying prolongs the life of the prints.

An embroidery lasts as long as the garment. A well‑cared‑for print keeps its look through many washes.

Companies, clubs and associations

Yes, from startups to large accounts: polos, sweatshirts, jackets, workwear and items. See customised clothing for businesses.

Follow our six-step method: create a personalised team uniform.

Yes: shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, coach jackets and bags, with names, numbers and sponsors. See personalised sports shirts.

Of course. Group t-shirts, sweatshirts, scarves and patches. See textiles for scouts and t-shirts for students.

Yes. Send us the list (name, size, optionally first name or number): we will prepare and sort each item.

Yes: embroidered aprons, polos and tunics. See personalised apron.
