Screen printing on promotional products
On items, screen printing lays down an opaque ink through a screen directly onto the surface: bottle, mug, bag or umbrella fabric. It gives solid colours and very good durability, ideal for logos in one to three colours.

How it works in the workshop
The screen
A screen is prepared for each colour of the logo.
The set-up
The item is held in a support suited to its shape.
The printing
The ink is laid down through the screen.
The drying
The ink is dried and the item checked.
The principle in a diagram
- Screen One screen per colour, with the stencil of the logo.
- Squeegee It stays fixed and pushes the ink through the screen.
- The object turns Water bottle, mug or pen turns under the screen which advances: the logo can go all the way around.
- Positioning and drying The object is held in a suitable fixture, then the ink is dried (oven or UV).
