Embroidery, the natural choice for caps
The stiff structure of the front panel is perfect for embroidery: the result is sharp, durable and premium. It's the most used technique for corporate, club or brand caps.
- Flat embroidery : the most common, suitable for almost all logos.
- 3D (raised) embroidery : padding under the stitches creates a volume effect, much appreciated on baseball-style caps. It suits simple shapes and thick letters.
When to prefer printing?
- Logo with gradients or photo : a DTF transfer reproduces all colours.
- Caps in lightweight polyester or trucker mesh: embroidery may be less suitable depending on the model.
- Very tight budgets for a one-day event.
The patch, the third way
An embroidered patch sewn on the front gives a very trendy "patch" look, and allows freer shapes.
